Abstract

Since Unit 3 & 4 finalization and commissioning have been declared by all the Romanian political forces a strategic project and a priority, it should be understood that the question should no longer be “if” but “when” the project will be completed. However, keeping in mind the challenges the nuclear domain faces throughout Europe, a solid analysis has to be done as well as a pragmatic approach to the project has to be proposed.

While the presentation only touches several key aspects for possible paths forward for this project, the major challenges for it as well as the benefits are drawn here, giving a high level understanding of the future possible evolutions of U3&4 project.
