General Fusion Sets World Record in Magnetized Target Fusion

The Canadian Nuclear Society congratulates General Fusion on achieving a world record by generating 600 million neutrons per second using Magnetized Target Fusion (MTF).  https://glassalmanac.com/canada-breaks-world-record-with-600-million-neutrons-per-second-bringing-nuclear-fusion-closer/

This achievement, reported on in the IAEA journal “Nuclear Fusion”, represents a crucial step toward demonstrating the feasibility of using Magnetized Target Fusion (MTF) to generate sustainable fusion reactions, a significant step on the path to using this technology to produce fusion power.
