Joining the CNS:

The Canadian Nuclear Society welcomes new members.   What better way to stay up-to-date on developments in the nuclear industry in Canada!  Membership is per calendar year.  

Fees (including tax) for new members are only:

  • $92.00 for regular members for 2017, and about $86.40 for each additional year 2017-2020
  • $54.10 for retiree members for 2017, and $48.40 for each additional year 2017-2020
  • $31.00 for student members from outside Canada, for 2017 But:
  • Full-time students in Canadian institutions: You may apply for complimentary CNS Student Membership! After creating your profile select “Student Membership”. For your free membership to be approved, you must ask your University or School or Professor to send an e-mail to the CNS office cns_office@cns-snc.ca officially confirming your full-time-student status in the current year. Once that confirmation is received, your membership will be approved.
    Note: to be eligible for the student fee for CNS conferences and courses, you must be a CNS student member in good standing.

Renewing your CNS membership:

Renewing Members! If you have ever been a member of CNS, we have sent out an email (to the email address we have on file for you) with instructions on how to renew your membership. If you have not received this email or have changed your address please send your name, current email address, and CNS Member ID to membership@cns-snc.ca and we will send you instructions on how to renew your membership.

If paid by 2016 Dec 31, fees (including tax) are only:

  • $31.00 for student members from outside Canada, for 2017 (subject to verification of full-time-student status)
  • Full-time students at a Canadian institution receive a complimentary CNS student membership, subject to verification of full-time-student status.

  • $109.35 for regular members for 2017, and $92.00 for each additional year 2017-2020
  • $65.60 for retiree members for 2017, and $54.10 for each additional year 2017-2020
  • $31.00 for student members from outside Canada, for 2017 (subject to verification of full-time-student status)
  • Full-time students at a Canadian institution receive a complimentary CNS student membership, subject to verification of full-time-student status.

    We have also a couple membership, for couples who live at the same address. The first member of the couple (labelled Couple A) pays the standard required amount, but the second member (labelled Couple B) receives a discount of $25 per year.

CNS Privacy Policy

The Canadian Nuclear Society has always treated its membership information with great care and discretion. It has now formally created a Privacy Policy to comply with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), the Canadian federal privacy law, which came into effect on January 1, 2004.
